The ETV is our flagship solution, the result of many years of intense research and development.
This latest release of the ETV 5 brings us across the threshold of a new era
where the lines of the digital world blur with that of the analog world.
The ETV 5 is more than a digital recorder. It is a solution designed to allow
organizations to grow and to thrive by giving them the tools and methods they
need to run their business effectively. I want to take a moment to share with
you just a few of the fantastic advances we have accomplished with our new
solution.
Advanced Integration with Data & Multimedia
Alone, video is a powerful medium, but without audible and physical reference we
can often not understand what we are looking at. By connecting your video to
other types of data present in your enterprise, we transform a simple video into
a multimedia and data-rich experience capable of transporting you deep into your
organization and its inner-workings from nearly anywhere on earth.
Features like the ability to connect to any open-database, call-logging, audio
reporting and a full API allow users to design the experience they want with our
solutions in an open-architecture environment.
Video Quality - At Long Last
Along with advances in
providing a data-rich experience, the ETV sets new industry standards for
quality of security video.
Since the inceptions of closed-circuit-television in the sixties, our industry
has never offered a mainstream solution capable of exceeding the minimal quality
of standard NTSC broadcast quality. The era of digital did little to help with
the quality issue due to compression and low-frame rates.
Today we have drawn a line in the sand and for the first time offer a solution
that not only meets the quality of standard television, it far exceeds it in a
format that is affordable, realistic and highly-functional.
By using multiple breaking technologies together we are able to offer real-time
recording on 32 channels per unit at a 4CIF (704 X 576), with audio, with data,
with megapixel IP cameras, with high-quality remote access all the while storing
super-compressed images that conserve drive space better than ever before.
A 19 Camera DVR? - Our New Licensing Model
It's been almost 10 years since digital security video has become mainstream.
While it's been exciting, it has often been a challenging and painful time for
both dealers and customers who have struggled to keep up with the technology. A
state-of-the-art solution can quickly be reduced to junk in a few short years
with closed-architecture and inability to upgrade.
For the first time we offer a new licensing model that works hand-in-hand with
our architecture. Designed to allow installed systems to grow with clients as
they explore the new world of IP video, clients will not have to face the
prospect of replacing hardware to increase capabilities. All ETV 5 systems
allow the addition of IP video channels in the field, anytime, now or in the
future.
By being able to buy only what is needed today, additional cost can be deferred
until the extra-capabilities are actually needed. This allows the dealer to be
competitive and provides the customer with a system that can grow with their
needs.
